DesignPhiladelphia takes place this week, and Brands Imaging has teamed up with Philadelphia photographer and artist Julia Blaukopf, Octo Design, the Callahan Ward Companies, and Cityspace for S.U.R.F.A.C.E., opening October 10th at 22nd and Walnut.
S.U.R.F.A.C.E. focuses on urban revitalization through art in a cultural environment and is being presented in support of VIADUCTgreene, a 501(c)(3) organization working to create greenspace along the 3 mile section of the former Reading Railroad. The project would create a continuous park and recreational path connecting Fairmont Park and Center City and allow users to travel this stretch without having to cross any city streets.
Come out and support your local art community and the VIADUCTgreene project at the opening reception on October 11 from 5-9 pm at 2200 Walnut Street. Can’t make the reception? The exhibit is open to the public October 10-15. But Brands certainly hopes to see you there!
